About the First Protestant Reformed Church of Edmonton
The First Protestant Reformed Church is a small church located in Edmonton, Alberta and affiliated with the Protestant Reformed Churches. We were organized in 1975. We are a small church with approximately 27 families. Information about our beliefs can be found under Our Beliefs and in the various sections of this website.
As a church we strive to maintain a friendly, welcoming atmosphere. In addition to public worship, there are a number of opportunities for spiritual activity and fellowship during the week. We typically hold a Bible study on Wednesday evenings at 8:00 from September to May. Catechism classes for children are held regularly throughout the same period. Young peoples and young adults societies also hold regular meetings. There are also occasional events intended as opportunities for fellowship organized by members of the church. We are a small church and many of our gatherings are relatively informal, providing spiritually healthy recreation and fellowship.
